The 35-year-old is accused of raping a minor in his country and was arrested in an area of the Municipality of Chania where he was hiding recently, by police officers of the Chania Security Sub-Directorate.
The Greek authorities decided to remand him in custody and the 35-year-old was taken to prison where he will remain until the process of his extradition to Sweden is completed.
