A 47-year-old man from Morocco returned home Wednesday night in Sassuolo, northern Italy, and in a state of amok, killed his wife of the same age, his mother-in-law, 64, and his two children, five and two years old.
Shortly afterwards, the perpetrator committed suicide. According to the locals, he was a seemingly gentle character and for several years he worked in a supermarket. His wife worked as a cleaner and was responsible for raising most of the children.
The tragedy took place just one day after the tragic incident in Vetrala, just outside Rome, where a 48-year-old man with a coronavirus left the hospital and returned home, where he killed his ten-year-old child.
