Christopher Henderson , 39, as the baby ‘s father ‘s name is, beat his two-month-old daughter inside the house, causing fractures in her legs, a hematoma in her brain and a broken rib.
The baby was taken to hospital with serious injuries on September 23 and lost the battle for life on November 3 as doctors determined he had no brain function.
According to the police, the baby ‘s father , when asked about the injuries to his child, initially blamed the cat but then admitted that he hit the two-month-old girl on the back for five minutes in order to calm him down.
The baby ‘s father is being held on $ 1 million bail while the exact cause of death of the girl is expected from the medical examiner’s report.
