Mutethia Rei women group in Meru county was empowered with Ksh 300,000 by Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza.

Speaking during the handing over, the chairman expressed unusual gratitude on behalf of the group. She stated that Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza is a wise woman chosen by God and that she will be able to see the progress the group has made with the Ksh 300,000 she supported them with during her next visit.
“Come 2022, we will all vote in her favor,” she added.

“Since we elected our leaders, none of them have ever come to speak to the community. We are grateful to our mother country for her support. May God bless her and do great things for her. We intend to make her Governor in 2022,” said another Member.
“Some of the leaders are still in the water, calling themselves King’ang’i but Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza is everywhere helping people. Our community suffers from a lack of water as well as poor road conditions.

“There have been two dry seasons in the area. Our village is located on the border of Tigania West and Isiolo, and we are grateful that Mama county recognized us. We have no doubt that when we elect her Governor, she will do wonders,” said another Member.
“Every Saturday at 7 a.m, we have a meeting and do table banking. When one of us has a party, we buy the food, help with the cooking, and do the labor. On the farms, we also assist each other.
“We intend to use the money to buy goats and sheep so that we can all graze together and improve our lives,” said another Member.
