Hundreds of Moses Kobia supporters gathered on April 21 to protest the result of the Chuuriu KTDA Election.

Protesters had barricaded the road with tires and Local police officers were seen putting off fires.

BAITETV spoke to one of the protesters who learned from media outlets that the previous directors were issued certificates, despite the fact that they had been in office for the previous 20 years with little progeress.

“Our preferred directors were voted for. Following the elections, the previous directors were re-instated, despite the fact that they had been in office for the previous 20 years with no progress.

Morris Kobia was elected as our KTDA director by the Chuuriu zone.

Murungi, who was in charge of elections, told us that the elections would be repeated, but later that evening, we learned from media outlets that he had issued a king’oori certificate.

We implore CS Munya to intervene,” a supporter of Moses Kobia told BAITETV.
