Form three student killed by her lover

A Form three student was on Wednesday murdered by her suspected lover in Nyatike Migori County.

Henry Charles, 21, is suspected to have ended the life of Lavender Trizah Odoyo who was a student at Aneko Secondary School.

A police report filed at Macadar police station and seen by K24 Digital revealed that Odoyo was attacked by a sharp object and had multiple deep cut injuries on the chest, neck and hands.

“It was reported by area chief David Lwero that the suspect stabbed the lady who was on her way from school occasioning multiple deep cuts injuries and she died instantly,” the report read in part.

The suspect then abandoned her and fled away with police suspecting that their love affair had gone sour.

The lifeless body was taken to Migori Level Four Hospital morgue for preservation and awaiting autopsy.

This comes just a week after the body of a Form 4 girl identified as Melvin Adhiambo was found badly mutilated in a thicket at Puche village in Migori county.

A few meters from her body was the body of her boyfriend who had reportedly committed suicide using a sisal rope.

The body of her boyfriend was discovered a day after that of the girl was discovered in the thicket a few meters from where the lady was found.

Police said that the body of Adhiambo was found by a lady who had gone in a thicket by a woman who was out fetching firewood.
