A gas explosion occurred in a five-storey apartment building in the Russian city of Naberezhnye Chelny on Monday afternoon.
The blast destroyed part of the building, injuring four people.
A spokesman for Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry said the blast occurred on the fourth floor of the building.
“Four people were injured and taken to hospital,” the official said, adding that a total of 32 people were safely removed from the building.
