A British teenager has been found guilty of killing two brothers, which he carried out in a “deal with the devil”, as he believed that if he sacrificed six women every six months he would win the jackpot in the Mega Millions gambling game.

Daniel Hussein, now 19, stabbed and killed Biba Henry, 46, and Nicole Smallman, 27, in a park in north-west London last June. Earlier, the two sisters had celebrated the former’s birthday with their friends.

Hussein carried out the killings in order to fulfill his part of a “deal” he had signed with a “demon”. He had promised to make “at least six sacrifices every six months for as long as he was free and physically fit” and, according to police, intended to keep that promise.

“I am absolutely convinced, like my team, that he would commit other murders,” said Chief Inspector Simon Harding, chief of investigations. “It’s difficult for a normal person to understand. “It looks like a movie,” he added.

Henry and Smallman had gone to Wembley Park Freed to celebrate the former’s birthday with friends. In the early morning hours, however, they were left alone. They took 150 photos, the last of which appears to be looking sideways – police believe they saw Hussein approaching them.

The young man stabbed them and hid the bodies in a forest, where he was found the next day by Smallman’s partner.

Hussein, who was living with his mother, was spotted with bloodstains found at the scene and arrested about four weeks later. Police believe that because he was injured in the hand during this attack, he was not able to commit other murders.

When the police searched his house, they found the “contract” and three lottery tickets. There were also satanic symbols and a handwritten book of “spells”. With some of them he was supposed to make women find him attractive.

The 19-year-old denies any involvement, claiming that it is an elaborate conspiracy against him. The court, however, found him guilty and his sentence will be announced later.

Police said it was unclear how the young man became interested in Satanism. Investigators knew he had access to the “dark network” but were unable to find his accounts after he refused to give his passwords. They also failed to unlock his iPAd. The material they collected showed that he was talking to others on the internet, but mainly about erotic spells.
