Horror in Iran: Parents who killed their unmarried son had killed daughter and groom

There is no end to the revelations about the horrific case of the murder of a director by his parents because he was not married. The elderly couple confessed in court that years ago they had also killed their daughter and son-in-law for “reasons of honor”.

The Iranian parents “who stabbed their son” in a crime of honor that had shocked the Asian country a few days ago, confessed to two more heinous murders.

It is about their daughter and son-in-law, whom they had murdered, years earlier. Akbar and Iran Khorramdin, 81 and 74, were arrested three weeks ago in Tehran on charges of killing their son, director and filmmaker Babak Khorramdin. His dismembered body was found in a landfill near their home.

When questioned by police, the couple admitted to killing him because he was unmarried. He later admitted that a few years ago they had killed their son-in-law Faramarz and Arezou’s daughter for their “immoral” behavior, according to Iranian media.

“I do not have a guilty conscience for any of the [murders] . “Those I killed were morally corrupt,” the father said during a court appearance.

Iran’s wife added: “We both [planned the killings]. My husband suggested it and I said, “OK.” I’m not sad at all. “I suffered a lot because of them.”

Iranian police are still investigating the crimes, according to the Iranian news site Tasnim.

The couple faces up to 10 years in prison for killing their children according to a strict interpretation of Islamic law by Iran, which imposes lighter sentences on parents who kill their children, writes the Daily Mail.

However, they could face life in prison if convicted of killing their son-in-law. The gruesome story first came to light on May 16 when garbage collectors in Tehran discovered a dismembered body in a landfill near the Ekbatan district.

Police were called and identified as Babak Khorramdin, a filmmaker who studied and worked in London since 2010 before returning to Iran to teach.

Officers went to the parents’ home and arrested them as they discovered evidence of the murder. According to the police, the murder took place after a quarrel that the 47-year-old had with his parents because he was not married.

A spokesman for the prosecution said the 47-year-old’s father had confessed to initially stunning his son. She then stabbed him and finally cut him up. Finally he put the parts of his body in garbage bags and threw them away.

Police said they found evidence of the brutal murder at the home of the 47-year-old’s family.

Babak Khorramdin graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Tehran.

A year later he moved to London to continue his studies before finally returning to his homeland to become a film teacher.
