Jihadist lets 5-year-old die of thirst – Bought her as a slave

Germany : An incredible atrocity was committed by a German Jihadist couple, who bought a mother and daughter for slaves in Iraq!

A German woman from the Islamic State was sentenced to ten years in prison by a Munich court for letting a 5-year-old Yazidi girl, who was held captive in Iraq, die of thirst.

Jennifer Venis, 30, who was charged with war crimes and murder, was facing life in prison in one of the world’s first war crimes trials against Yazidis, a Kurdish minority persecuted by jihadists in Iran.

The German, originally from the city of Lon in Lower Saxony, had gone to Iraq to find “her brothers”, as she had explained in the trial that began in April 2019.

For many months he carried out armed patrols after joining the moral police in Fallujah and Mosul. This police service mainly took care of the application of the dress code imposed by the jihadists of the Islamic State.

In the summer of 2015, she and her then-husband Taha al-Jumaili, who are on trial in Frankfurt in a parallel trial, bought a 5-year-old girl and her mother, who belonged to the Yazidi minority, to use as slaves, according to the indictment.

She died of thirst

After several incidents of abuse, Venice’s husband “punished” the girl for urinating on his bed by tying her to a window outside their house while the temperature reached 50 degrees. The girl died, while his mother was forced to remain to serve the couple.

Venice was accused of not reacting when her husband punished the girl. She herself during the trial claimed that she was afraid that he would hit her.

Her lawyers, like those of al-Jumaili, tried to claim that the girl, who was later taken to a hospital in Fallujah, may not have died.

However, this is disputed by the child’s mother, Nora T., who now lives in a secret location in Germany and was a key witness in the case.
