Meru county government slammed after a series of water leaks

Charuru-Tigania villagers have appealed to the Meru county government to repair broken water pipes along the Michimikuru-Mikinduri road. The landowner told BaiteTv that he had lost his miraa crop, cow feed and bananas planted to feed his pigs.

“Despite having millions of shillings, the Meru county government should stop using tubes to repair damaged pipes. Metal pipes should be used to replace the damaged plastic pipes. My miraa crop was severely damaged by the water, and a portion of the land was washed away.”, Enely told to BaiteTV.
