Fugitive Police Caroline Kangogo was found dead in her parents’ home in Elgeyo Marakwet County on Friday morning.
Her death was confirmed by George Natembeya, the Regional Police Commissioner.
Kangongo was discovered dead in a pool of blood in her parents’ bathroom, holding a gun.
Caroline was a lead suspect in the murders of two men in less than 48 hours. After perpetrating terrible killings in Nakuru and Kiambu counties, the deceased has been on the run.

The murders were thought to be connected. She is accused of killing John Ogweno in Nakuru County on Tuesday, July 5th, and Peter Ndwiga in Juja Kiambu County on Wednesday, July 6th.
Corporal Kangogo was a skilled sharpshooter who carried out the murders with aplomb.
Images of her decapitated body have gone viral on the internet.
