In the face of an extremely unusual and at the same time terrifying spectacle, a post office visitor was found in Florida.
He saw an alligator sitting … restless at the reception entrance.
The animal allegedly invaded the building through the front doors and remained undisturbed in the area.
Hernando County Sheriff’s Office posted the incident on Facebook, saying it received reports of an alligator in the lobby of a local post office at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
His post included a photo of the reptile, which does not appear to be very large.
An alligator charmer was called to the spot to safely remove the animal, while no injuries were caused.
