Three Tunisian soldiers were killed Tuesday night in a helicopter crash during night exercises in the southern Tunisian province of Gabes, according to the Ministry of Defense.
“The three soldiers on board the army air force helicopter were all killed in the crash,” ministry spokesman Mohamed Zekri told AFP.
A “technical” investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash in the town of El Hama in Gabes province, Zekri added, without elaborating.
