Two officers attached to the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) have been killed by suspected bandits in the volatile Laikipia County.
Sources confirmed that the two officers were killed Wednesday evening after bandits raided them while digging a trench.
During the daring evening raid, 7 KDF officers are also said to have been injured as the bandits exchanged fire with security officers deployed in the area.
This happened hours after an attack at Kamwenje GSU command center where 2 junior officers were killed and a chief inspector seriously injured.
