Strange relationship between a woman who married the man who killed her brother in Ohio, USA, who has been released from prison.
The wedding took place at home, because the convict is under house arrest and is awaiting a retrial of his case.
In particular, Crystal Straus and John Tiedjen started their flirtation when she wrote him a letter telling him that he forgave him for the murder of her brother, Brian McGary, in 1987.
“I also wrote her a letter back and told her I did not do it. “I also believed in God and I know things about it, but I have not done it,” said Tiedjen, now 57, at a local Cleveland station.
How their relationship started
Tiedjen was released from prison on July 22 because the prosecutor agreed to have his case retried, based on new evidence that had not been presented to the first court.
The local prosecutor, however, believes that the first instance decision will not be changed, confirming that the evidence against him is unshakable.
McGary and Tiedjen were living together when he was found dead at one point with stab wounds and bullets, with the man finally admitting that he killed him in self-defense.

In prison, however, he had an affair with the victim’s half-sister and on New Year’s Eve 2020 he proposed to her, before he even learned that he would be released from prison.
“It is certainly not a fairy tale, but it is genuine,” concluded the victim’s sister and the murderer’s wife.
