Seven children, three women and seven men taken to hospital in Herat province – All killed by bullets
At least seventeen people have been killed in fighting in Herat province (west) between Taliban special forces and a group of militants believed to be members of the Islamic State jihadist group , a hospital source told Russia’s Sputnik news agency.
“The bodies of 17 people – seven children, three women and seven men – were taken to a hospital in Herat province. “Everyone died from bullets,” the source said.
Earlier yesterday, the Taliban announced that they had killed three ISIS “kidnappers” in Herat in a long battle.
