BaiteTv understands that an unidentified suspect dug a hole from the outside and used it to gain entry into the house.

One of the residents said that she didn’t hear any yells the night before until she realized what had happened at 2 p.m. the next day. She was curious as to why neither Miathene nor Ngundu police had not arrived to collect the body.

The hole alleged to be dug from the outside and used it to gain entry into the house.

“The deceased’s baby was still in the house, and the goats were still confined to their enclosure. We want to know who will protect us because the government has abandoned us,” she said.

Mr. Kalume, nyumbakumi chairman, said that some of the residents claimed to have heard a scream that lasted only a few seconds before dissipating. He phoned her husband, who asked him to check on her.

“I knocked on the door despite the fact that I knew she closes her shop past 9:00 p.m. When I didn’t get an answer after calling her, I informed the husband, and sadly, my phone’s charge died.

“I last saw the husband on Monday, 17th, and I had asked him to bring me a new battery the next time he came to visit,” he said.

Kendi’s husband said that on May 18, at 10:00 p.m., he received a phone call. He asked the caller to check on her wife who said he didn’t see anything. He was at Mau at the time where he works.

Kendi’s father-in-law said that the subarea called to inform him that her daughter-in-law had been killed. He had gotten up early for work and returned around 11:00 p.m. to find out what had happened.

“I humbly request that the government assist us in determining what caused the death. My late daughter-in-law was extremely hard working and never held grudges against anyone,” he said.
