Stop politicizing education sector, Eng. Kagwima tells off politicians

Igembe North 2022 MP aspirant Eng. Justus Kagwima, who has announced his bid to unseat Hon. Maoka Maore has told off politicians who are politicizing the education sector and urged them to assist needy students in achieving their goals.

Eng. Kagwima, a resident of Buathine, Naathu Ward, said that despite the high cost of living in the country, parents should send their children to school. He said that he will support the education sector and ensure that it has a bright future.

“In my manifesto, I plan to support the education sector so that it can continue to grow. I urge politicians and my fellow aspirants to exercise caution when it comes to education. I implore them not to meddle with the education sector and to keep politics and education separate in order for our constituency to thrive,” Eng. Kagwima said.

Eng. Kagwima urged parents to sacrifice what little they have to send their children to school despite the harsh economic times in the country.

According to Eng. Kagwima, Igembe North residents will have taken a step forward to a bright future if they can support education as a community.

“I urge parents who are enrolling their children in Form One to make every effort and do everything they can to ensure that their children report to school so that we can help ourselves and the children thrive. I also implore them to make an effort and give up whatever they have in order for their children to complete their education,” Eng. Kagwima said.

Eng. Kagwima said that he was aware of the many challenges facing Igembe North residents at the moment due to the lack of a Miraa market, which he said had impacted his people economically and left them without money.
