Although a shapely body seems to be a long and time consuming process, the effort you put into staying in shape has many positive results.
If you want to start your journey to have a better body and feel great, here are some tips:
1. Exercise daily
Exercise daily for at least one hour. You do not need to fall head over heels in running, jogging, etc., but you should have some kind of moderate physical activity in your daily routine.
If you want to lose a few pounds fast, do a higher level workout. For example, take a brisk walk for an hour.
Alternatively, you can jog and set specific intervals for sprints during this time. Make sure you do not have severe pain during your workout.
Just a warning, your muscles will ache after a high-intensity workout. It may be annoying, but it does mean that your body is changing for the better.
Make sure you stay hydrated, toned and eat foods with a decent amount of protein after each workout.
2. The right food and portion at every meal
Try to stay away from sweets. Sugar will not help you get in shape. Even if it is just one candy, one will eventually lead to another.
Fruits and vegetables are ideal for getting in shape. Apples, for example, do a good job of making your stomach feel full for up to 3 to 4 hours. Green vegetables such as beans and broccoli keep the digestive system clean and functioning.
Also, prefer lean meats such as turkey and chicken. Seafood such as shrimp and tilapia are also great alternatives.
These foods are packed with protein and healthy nutrients to keep your muscles in shape and ready for training.
In addition, be sure to share what you eat. Having a good metabolism comes from sharing meals. Try to plan on eating six times a day and adjusting smaller portions instead of having three large meals throughout the day.
This will also help your body breathe more smoothly when you exercise, instead of pushing and pumping air.
This is because you will have less food in your digestive system, which means more energy is used for your exercise.
3. Monitor calories and food intake per day Keeping
Track of the number of calories you eat in a day will help you plan your exercise.
Ever wondered why body builders have such big muscles? This is because they plan their meals and receive more (healthy) calories than the average person.
On the other hand, losing weight and striving for physique will require more exercise than the calories you consume.
4. Get proper sleep
Although most of us have eight hours of work during the day or night, it is important to get enough sleep to recharge our batteries.
Six to eight hours of sleep will keep your body strong throughout the day, but if you happen to feel tired on your way home from work, take a short nap before exercising.
You should sleep for half an hour. This will prevent you from staying up late at night.
5. Stay active
An important key to staying fit is to set goals and stay positive. If you stay positive, you will be able to push yourself to get the body you have always wanted.
