Why Kiraitu's Mbus Party Is A Bad Omen?

Meru County MP Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza has urged residents to run away from Kiraitu Murungi’s DEP (bus) party as quickly as possible whenever they see it.

Speaking in Central Imenti at Karama, Tigania and Kiija where she donated 10,000-liter water tanks, bursaries to the needy students, giant umbrellas, gumboots, capital for small scale businesses, clothes and T-shirts to needy residents, Kawira said that Kiraitu Murungi’s DEP (bus) party wheels were purchased with funds set aside for the Covid-19 pandemic.

She said that the money set aside for road repairs was used to pay for the paintwork and the purchase of doors, the funds allocated for the purchase of medicines in hospitals were used to install a carrier on its roof and the engine was purchased with money intended for people with disabilities.

According to Kawira, the seats were purchased with funds designated for youth and the elderly. She said that the bus was not assembled by Kiraitu Murungi’s sweat, but by someone forced to do so and by a child who had not been educated.

Kawira said that the steering was purchased after cancer patients in Meru County were denied proper healthcare and were forced to travel to Nairobi for dialysis.

“People in Meru County died of cancer in his second year in office, and boda boda operators suffered losses after their motorcycles were repossessed by creditors due to their inability to repay loans due to poor road networks. The bus party is the only thing Kiraitu has given us in his final year,” she said.

“I’d like to assure him that on August 9, 2022, his defeat will be remembered as the most talked about. Let alone the recent book he launched in which he referred to me as a dog and a bishop of the poor,” she said.

“The book was full of insults directed at me, but the book about his defeat, which will be published on August 9, 2022, will be read in Africa and parts of Europe. The child from a different mother should also be given the opportunity to lead,” she said.
