Taliban insurgents have killed at least 10 members of an organization tasked with clearing landmines during an attack in the northern Afghan province of Baghlan, a spokesman for the war-torn country’s interior ministry said today.
“The Taliban have invaded an organization in charge of mine-clearing operations (…) and started firing on everyone,” Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian told reporters.
