A failed operation to clear illegal fireworks in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, which led to a powerful explosion, resulted in the injury of 17 people.
According to reports, the local police proceeded to seize improvised fireworks, the quantity of which exceeded two tons , while they were intended for use in the festive events of the 4th of July . They were located at a home in southern Los Angeles, with police successfully removing them
However, the problem arose when Los Angeles police pyrotechnicians attempted to participate in the process of seizing and transporting the fireworks in a special truck.

Then, for some unknown reason, there was an ignition and an explosion , which resulted in the destruction of the truck, damage to another vehicle and the injury of 17 people , three of whom were civilians. The positive thing was that the lives of none of the injured were threatened.
A 27-year-old man was arrested for possession of 240illegal fireworks, small and medium in size.
