Meru Town, Meru County. — Two people, a rider and a passenger on one motorcycle were seriously injured on the leg on Thursday afternoon after a collision with a car at Meru Town in Meru county, according to an eyewitness.

A man and woman were reported to be on the motorcycle together when the collision with a white Toyota Succeed occurred, according to an eyewitness.

Two people were seen lying on the road before being taken into the Toyota Succeed and rushed to the hospital. The motorcycle was lying a few feet away from one of the passengers with pieces of the bike scattered.

The other driver’s condition was not immediately available. A Meru police station police spokesperson was not immediately available to comment on the accident.
