Oklahoma police have handcuffed a 24-year-old man accused of rape after he took his 12-year-old “girlfriend” to the hospital to give birth to their baby.
Tulsa police officers were called to Hilcrest Medical Center on July 14 when a 12-year-old girl arrived to give birth.
She was accompanied by her 12 years older Juan Miranda-Jara, who claimed that he had been in a relationship with the unfortunate girl since October 2020 and was pregnant with the fruit of their love.
He even said that he was proud to become a father, expressing his question why the police were called to the hospital.
“They were behaving like any other couple and were excited to have their first child,” police officer Danny Bean told Fox 23, noting that both the girl and the 24-year-old “did not see anything wrong” with it all.
It is noted that the age limit for consent to sexual intercourse in Oklahoma is 16 years. Despite her young age, the 12-year-old finally gave birth to a very healthy baby girl and was discharged, returning home.

But not Miranda-Jara, who did not hesitate to upload photos to his personal Facebook account from the maternity hospital.
The young man was arrested for first-degree rape, however, according to authorities, he may face additional charges related to the minor’s pregnancy.
However, it is not known how the 24-year-old came in contact with the minor girl, while the circumstances under which they had sexual intercourse remain unclear, but also how the 12-year-old managed to “hide” her pregnancy from the Authorities.
However, posts on social media “testify” that some of Miranda-Jara’s relatives not only knew about his inappropriate “relationship” with the minor, but also approved of her.
Also on his Facebook page, which has now been deleted, the man with the perverted sexual appetites, openly stated that he was in a relationship with the minor girl, uploading photos of them together.
Miranda-Jara is being held on $ 50,000 bail and is expected to appear in court on August 26.
