Shocking details are being released by detectives investigating the murder of Sabina Nessa, in the hope that new witnesses will be present to help investigate the crime.
The 28-year-old primary school teacher left her home on Astell Street in London shortly before 8.30pm on Friday, September 17th.
Police believe she then crossed Cator Park to the Depot pub in Pegler Square, where she was planning to meet a friend. Nessa never reached the pub and is believed to have been killed while walking in the park.
Her body was found near the OneSpace Community Center inside the park at about 5.30am the next day . Detective Inspector Joe Garritti, who is leading the investigation into the murder, said: “Our investigation is making progress and the officers remain at the crime scene, conducting intensive investigations.”
“We are incredibly grateful for all those who have come so far and spoken to us, but we believe that there are others out there who may have information that could help. “If you think you saw Sabina or any other suspicious behavior in or around the park on Friday night, please let us know.”
