Spanish police have arrested three men as suspects in the death of Samuel Luiz, who was beaten to death in A Coru .a last Saturday, and authorities suspect he was the victim of homophobic hatred.
“The investigation remains open until the facts are fully clarified. “More arrests are not ruled out in the next few hours,” police said in a Twitter post.

The 24-year-old assistant nurse was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning outside a nightclub. A witness who spoke to La Sexta television said one of the perpetrators shouted homophobic insults during the attack.
