38-year-old mother drowned her twin children in the bathtub – The reason is tragic

Must read

An untold tragedy has taken place in Britain, with 38-year-old Samantha Ford drowning her twin children, Jake and Chloe, 23 months old, on the grounds that he is unthinkable.

The 38-year-old mother drowned her children at their home in Westwood, Kent and then crashed her car into a truck. Samantha did not want to end the rich life she lived with her husband in Qatar, she was very manipulative as a human being and she knew how to control others emotionally, as she was told in court.

She avoided premeditated murder after the prosecutor’s office accepted her request for a smaller charge at a previous hearing in June, when judges ordered a psychiatric examination.

Samantha’s marriage to her husband Steven, which resulted in two beautiful twin children, broke up a few months before she killed her children.

He told the court that he had sent a message to someone on Christmas day, writing: “I have to put an end to it. I want to make him suffer to see what he is going to do “.

The bodies of the children were found in the house shortly after Samantha’s car was involved in a truck accident on the National Road shortly before 3:00 pm on February 27.

When the ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident, all it could say was “Let me die. I killed my children. I would never hurt them. I love them. Everything is like a bad dream. I had to go to the hospital earlier. “It ‘plays with my mind.’

Police found the children’s bodies around 3:30 p.m. According to the medical examiner, they were killed the day before.

The story behind the tragedy

The couple got married in 2008 and moved to Qatar where they enjoyed a rich and luxurious life. Samantha became pregnant after IVF and gave birth to twins in 2017. In 2018 the family returned to England, to their home in Charing near Ashford, Kent.

In a message to Steven’s husband, he wrote: “Why did you choose a job and a miserable life in London? We were much better where we were. “By what you did, you condemned your children.”

Steven wrote in a letter to the court because he could not bear to attend the trial: “The shock is huge and the pain is indescribable. In an instant my whole life changed. I had two beautiful babies who were very healthy. It was everything in my life. Everyone had their own personality and they loved each other very much. I have no doubt that growing up they would become wonderful people.

My ex-wife and I really wanted to become parents. We did four IVFs until we did it.

I wake up in the middle of the night with panic attacks and in recent weeks even more often. I scream and break whatever I find in front of me. The morning I get out of bed I’m hypnotized and go into the kids’ room to wake them up.

In recent months I have thought many times about committing suicide but I do not do it because I think about the consequences that would have on my parents and family. But I do not know if I can live like this. I keep thinking that it was their last minutes. Were they terrified? Confused? Did they hurt? Did they suffer?

It was my job to protect them even though I know I could not at the time. “

He told the court that he felt guilty about the death of his children and had no idea what was going to happen.

In the trial that took place a few weeks before last Christmas, it was heard that Samantha’s health had deteriorated significantly and she had searched for various methods of suicide and murder on the internet.

Ed Brown, accused in the murder of the twins, said: “There is evidence that this is someone who was interested in material goods and did not want to lose the good life in Qatar and was searching the internet for ideas to kill children and herself. of “.

Samantha pleaded guilty to murder with a reduced charge at a hearing in May but denied both charges of premeditated murder. At the next hearing in June on appeal, prosecutor Ed Brown said: “The judiciary has carefully considered all the expert reports and the facts of this case and concluded that this is a separate case. Let us not forget that there is a father who seeks justification for his two angels. The case requires further investigation. “

The trial was adjourned pending further psychiatric examination of Samantha’s condition.

Until then he will be detained. The father of the twins continues to post tributes to his dead children on Twitter calling them “my beautiful babies”.

After the murder, he wrote: “My twins. My beautiful babies. I love you”.

In June, he posted on Twitter a photo of his son and daughter sitting side by side, writing “Like today, six months ago, my beautiful children disappeared. Sadness and pain are all I have left. I miss you a lot. “When you left, you took my heart with you.”

The hearing was adjourned until 16 August.
