The Shameema Begum died Sunday two weeks after surgery on his back by Muhammad Waheed Butt .
Butt, who has been arrested and charged, did not hesitate to take money from the family of the unfortunate elderly woman before operating on her.
” We can not monitor what every doctor is doing at any given time. We are a big hospital, ” said a spokesman for the hospital where the 80-year-old died in Lahore .
The police announced that the said employee of the security company had been accused in the past that he was impersonating the doctor, even making home visits to patients.
The case was revealed when relatives of the 80-year-old took her back to the hospital as both the bleeding and the pain in her back had not subsided after the surgery.
The hospital claims that the arrested security guard was fired two years ago because he was then trying to get money from patients.
