“The paper will be prepared by a panel of six Mount Kenya representatives whose job it is to meet with all stakeholders in the economic sector so that what is announced at the meetings will be balanced consultation,” he said.

He stated that they have now reached an agreement with 11 County Councilors on key economic issues that should be prioritized if Dr Ruto wins the general election and becomes the country’s fifth president.

“At the moment, we cannot discuss the position because there is a BBI process underway that proposes the creation of additional positions, such as the Prime Minister and his two deputies.” There is also talk of nominating some ministers from the ranks of elected MPs to put pressure on us to postpone the movement until we see the direction of the BBI, ” he said.

“Where we are in Tangatanga, there are Kieleweke who are nominating ODM leader Raila Odinga as the fifth president, there are those who are looking for Baringo Senator Mr Gideon Moi as their presidential candidate, and there are also some who are nominating a leader ANC member Musalia Mudavadi,” he said.

Mr. Rigathi urged all political parties to “conduct their campaigns peacefully, without flirting with or attempting to divide others.”

“If we meet with Dr. Ruto, they will meet with the nominees, and then we will go to the 2022 vote, and the voters will decide where their political beliefs are,” he said.

He chastised Kieni MP Kanini Kega and his Nyeri Urban counterpart Ngunjiri Wambugu for “involvement in anti-Tangatanga ‘rallies while they frequently meet Mr Odinga and do not ask them,” urging them to stop being irritated by the unsalted peppers.
