The National Assembly Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security earlier today held a meeting with various stakeholders to discuss the issue of provision of insurance for police officers.
Present for the meeting were Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. (Eng.) Karanja Kibicho, Chairman National Police Service Commission Mr. Eliud Kinuthia and senior officials from the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) and Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA)
The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chairperson of the Committee Hon. Fatuma Gedi.
