About 50 people were killed in the southern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo when a truck overturned and fell into a river, it became known on Tuesday from the office of the provincial governor, where the tragedy unfolded.
The accident took place yesterday in the province of O Katanga, the office of Governor Zak Kiaboula said in a statement.
Only two passengers of the truck survived, according to the announcement.
