Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza Donates 10000-liter Water Tank To Nkiri Community

Meru County MP Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza has won the hearts of locals after she donated a 10000-liter water tank to Nkiri Community in the county.

She said the community will benefit from the water tank.

“I’ve noticed that people are having problems in the many meetings I’ve attended. Some people tell me to stop embarrassing Meru County in parliament when I present the problems because the challenges are over, ” she said.

“When I mention that the roads are bad and there is no water, I am told to stop talking. Even if it means being despised, I must speak up because I am the people’s voice.

“When I asked why the Meru county government’s budget allocation was being returned to the national government after being stolen by a few, I was told that the King’ang’i was still in the water.”

“Despite having a limited budget, I was assigned to support various groups in Meru County. However, the county government, on the other hand, is receiving Ksh 1 billion under the Ministry of Gender every fiscal year.

“Despite Uhuru’s allocation of a significant budget to Meru County, the county has poor roads. Medicine is in short supply in hospitals while another individual is being treated by more than 5 doctors and nurses at Nairobi’s Agah Khan Hospital.

“When I asked about the doctors who would be attending to the poor at the mashinani, I was told that the King’ang’i is still in the river.

“I told them that the King’ang’i died when the corona money, the road budget allocation, and money for men and women were all taken away.

“I also told them that I would team up with my people in Mashinani and drag the King’ang’i out of the water using ropes in 2022.

“I’ve come to educate the children, plant a seed in the group and provide a tank water tank.

“What of the King’ang’i’s billions if I can make do with what I’ve been given?” This would bring wealth to the mashinani, a process known as “devolution.”

“I’d like to help a widow with a child in Kanjalu, Kaaga, or Meru schools who is going through a difficult time. I’ll do it as a favor because no other leader has ever come to offer you assistance.

“I’d like to support ten children who are struggling with school fees, as well as get updated on a proposal for a project in which I will deliver a water tank.

“The county government is in charge of the water ministry. However, as the communities were experiencing water shortages, I approached the president and requested assistance with water tanks.

“My office has offered to help the Nkiri Community group by providing a 10,000-liter water tank. I’ve seen groups buy plots, build high-rise houses, buy petrol stations, and do other big things.

“The days of bribing group leaders in order for them to return a certain amount are long gone. My office, on the other hand, is open and transparent, and everything is done in the open,” she said.
