The Islamic State jihadist group claimed responsibility for Friday’s attack on a mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul, in the Saqqara Daraa district, according to a Telegram website of the Nasser news agency, its propaganda agency.
At least 12 people were killed in a blast at a mosque during Friday prayers as worshipers gathered for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr, officials said.
