The confrontations of gangs with knives going on in London . After Monday night’s incident in Hyde Park when a knife gang beat and stabbed a young man, on Wednesday four young men with knives clashed at noon on a main street in Greenwich .
According to eyewitnesses who videotaped the incident, three men, one of whom is holding a knife, are trying to do good to one, who, wielding a hammer and having a hammer in his other hand, initially tries to defend himself.
The confrontation between the four men lasts several minutes with the neighbors shouting at them to stop .
At some point in the battle, the man, who is not wearing a T-shirt and shoes, appears to strike with the huge knife that holds his opponent in the wrist and injures him, forcing him and his company to retreat.
According to British media, when the police arrived at the scene, they found a man stabbed and taken to the hospital in critical condition , while no arrests were reported, as the others had fled.
A police spokesman urged anyone with information about the attack to contact the authorities, as the search for the perpetrators is ongoing .
“Officers are investigating the knife attack in Greenwich. Police were called to the Barge Walk in south-east London at 4.23pm local time after reports that four men were fighting with knives. “A man was found at the scene with obvious wounds and was taken to the hospital in critical condition,” said the representative of the metropolitan police.
