Hon Kawira Mwangaza donates uniforms, 10000L tank to Mck Gichunge Primary School

Must read

Teachers and students of Mck Gichunge Primary School were overjoyed when Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza visited them and provided them with a 10,000-liter water storage tank. According to the headmaster, the school faced the challenge of water shortage because the water used in the school comes from the forest.

“The most difficult challenge has been Elephants, which step on water pipes and destroy them. We needed a place to collect water in order to use it,” said the headteacher.

“Last night, the elephants came nd destroyed electric power lines.

“We currently do not have any water. Now that the tank has arrived, we can at least use gutters to collect water and store it for a long time. On behalf of the students, teachers, and the school as a whole, I’d like to give my appreciation to Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza.

“May God bless Bishop and her team and grant her wishes.

“On Saturday, a student in class 5 and another in grade 3 had their house burned down. All of their belongings were destroyed, including their books and school uniforms.

“The students have yet to return to school. I had asked the other students to contribute whatever they could so that the affected students could purchase books and school uniforms,” he said.

Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza said she arrived at a time when the students were planning to contribute to the students who were affected and was unaware.

“I want to inform the students whose house was burned down, who you planned to help buy uniforms for, that a miracle has happened for them because Mother County has arrived with uniforms,” she said.

“One of the students, known as Kanyiri, will receive a dress and a shirt, Dennis will be given a pair of shorts, a shirt, and a pullover. Mutwiri will receive a short, a shirt, and a pullover,” said Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza.

“I’d like to express my gratitude to Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza for paying us a visit this morning, at a time when we were in desperate need,” said a teacher of Mck Gichunge Primary School.

“A house was recently burned down, and she arrived just in time to assist us with uniforms.

“The water storage tank that has been brought will also be very useful because, as you know, we are facing a water shortage due to elephants.

“Our school is located near a forest, and elephants frequently visit and step on the pipes, causing damage and preventing water from reaching the school.

“However, the challenge has been eliminated today because the water storage tank will allow us to store water and we will no longer face water challenges.

“I appreciate Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza’s visit today and her support. May God continue to bless her and add to what she already has, and may He grant her wishes, said the teacher.

A parent said she was very happy because  Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza has helped the students with uniforms.

“She is our mother and we love her a lot,” she said.

Another parent said she was overjoyed. She prayed that God blesses Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza and grant her more years and days to lead people.
