The city mayor ordered the evacuation of settlements around the factory, RTS reported. The three injured workers are being treated.

This is the second explosion this month at the Sloboda ammunition factory, which manufactures home appliances, artillery ammunition, and other explosives.

No one was injured in the previous blast, which occurred at the factory warehouse.

A similar explosion in 2003 killed three workers at the Sloboda plant, while one in 2010 also left no casualties.
