This elephant often makes such “visits” to a house in Thailand
Ratchadawan Puengprasoppon from Thailand could not believe his eyes when he saw an elephant drill a hole in his kitchen to eat.
The male elephant named Boonchuay used its proboscis to open drawers, drop pans, and eventually eat the contents of a plastic bag.
According to Puengprasoppon, however, this was not the first time that this elephant has made such a “visit”.
” They come often. “Most of the time this happens when there is a public market in the area as then they smell of food, ” explained the caretaker of the park where the elephant lives.
In one case, the elephant caused about 1,500 euros in damage to Puengprasoppon’s house.
