One person was injured in a knife attack in the car park of Düsseldorf airport, with police searching for the perpetrator, who escapes.

According to the German News Agency (dpa), it was most likely a fight between homeless people next to the automatic parking machine. The victim, however, was slightly injured and left the hospital after receiving first aid.
The incident did not cause any problems in the operation of the airport or in its security, the Police assured.
