Kiraitu runs into hiding after former Governor Peter Munya comes out breathing fire!!

Must read

Former Meru Governor Peter Munya gave a scathing assessment of his successor’s first four years in office in Meru County, claiming that Governor Kiraitu Murungi has demonstrated that he is “incapable of taking the job seriously” and has shown no interest in “helping anyone but himself, family, and friends.”

“He has been unable to oversee the management of the county and has been staying in Nairobi. He should have avoided discussing Hon. Kawira Mwangaza and me when he was drafting his book,” said Munya.

“He should have written about what he has done for the people of Meru. The public health system has failed, and there is no water where the boreholes are claimed to be constructed.

“He was unable to perform the job, and when someone is unable to perform a job, he should notify the people, resign, and let someone else work for the Meru people.

“However, abandoning Meru County to live in Nairobi, publishing a book about gossiping people, and gossiping in newspaper columns are not the tasks he was assigned by the people.

“He argues that I am a tribalist, although his government is staffed entirely by people from his homeland,” said Munya.

“Former President Kibaki’s government was brimming with Kiraitu Murungi’s tribal men, known as the Mt Kenya Mafia. Kenyans dubbed them the Mafia because they just cared about themselves,” said Munya.

“Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi’s government has employed people from his hometown, according to records. I don’t want to name people, but the evidence is apparent.

“He should have addressed the subject of corruption in his book, as well as his family’s involvement in Meru County government tenders. According to records, he included his wife and children in the tendering, and such a person should not be praised for launching a book on how he is learned and the events of his life.

“Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi’s involvement in tenders with his wife and children demonstrates that he was unable to work. If he wants to be a journalist who gossips about other people, he should express his desire so that he can be hired,” said Munya.
