Islamic State claims responsibility for bloody attack

The Islamic State (IS) jihadist group claimed responsibility for a bomb blast in the Iraqi capital, Iraq, on the eve of a Muslim holiday of sacrifice that killed at least 35 people and injured dozens more.

In a post on its channel on the Telegram platform, the IK reported that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber, who, according to him, was named Abu Hamza al-Iraqi.
