Meru county will achieve international level standards when Bishop Hon. Kawira Mwangaza becomes governor. She was presenting a 303,098 cheque to the Muchicha Blessing Self-Help Group.
She said that a large sum of money had been allocated to the Meru county government by the national government, but it had been lost due to corruption and laziness on the part of the county council office, beginning with Meru County Governor Kiraitu Murungi and other senior county government officials.
