A couple killed their 6-year-old son – They “poisoned” him with salt and hit his head

Must read

Salos has erupted in Britain with the details of the murder of a 6-year-old child by his father and mother as they are being transported to the courtroom in Birmingham.

A woman accused of killing her partner’s six-year-old son, who allegedly called him a “devil child” and sent a message to the boy’s father saying “I want you but not him”.

Emma Tustin, 32, referred to little Arthur with incredible expressions in messages she sent to her boyfriend Thomas Hughes, 29, weeks before the boy suffered fatal injuries.

Arthur had tried to tell his family members that “no one loves me” and that “I will not eat today” shortly before he died.
The 6-year-old was abused for months

The couple is accused of “poisoning” the child with salt and making him endure months of abuse before killing him “by hitting his head on a hard surface”.

They both deny that they killed Arthur, who collapsed at Tustin’s home in Searley, UK on June 16 last year. He died at Birmingham Children’s Hospital the next day after suffering severe brain damage.

The court said that Tustin sent several messages claiming that Arthur was “screaming”, refusing to eat his food, demanding to go to his grandmother while saying that he had tried and attacked her.

Tustin has pleaded guilty to child abuse, but denies further charges for the same offense. The father also denies child abuse offenses.

The court heard another message she sent to her friend saying, “You are living with the devil’s child.”
