Delisa Tucker was visiting the spot where she had lost her son when she was shot in the chest.
Early Wednesday morning, Delisa Tucker died when she was fatally shot in the chest while visiting the scene of the death of her son, Kevin Tinker, where acquaintances and friends left candles and flowers.
Tinker, 14, had been the victim of gun violence a few days earlier, and died at the exact same spot.
She herself, at the time of the shooting, lit a candle in memory of her child who had fallen victim to armed violence a few days earlier, and died at the exact same spot.
According to ABC News, the woman was found lying on the sidewalk when police received a call around 12:15 local time, and was transported to Roseland Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police have not confirmed whether the two shots were linked and no arrests have been made.
