Stanely Kirimi of Laare-Igembe killed his wife instantly by hitting her on the head with a blunt object.
Trouble began when the two misunderstood each other, prompting his wife, Philomena Kagwiria, to leave and rent a house nearby.
Stanley later suspected his wife of infidelity and confronted her. Stanely struck his wife on the head with the blunt object around 11 a.m., killing her instantly.
He fled after committing the crime, but was later apprehended by locals and escorted to the Laare police station.
