An unbelievable tragedy unfolded online in Florida, USA, when a woman died when she was shot by an infant while she was on a video conference via Zoom.
According to police, Shamaya Lynn, just 21 years old, was on a video call related to her job when she was shot.
According to a statement issued by Altamonte Springs Police on Facebook, a man called the ambulance when Lynn fell to the side while a child appeared in the background and the participants in the video conference heard a noise.
Despite the immediate intervention of the police and the First Aid, Lynn succumbed to her fatal head injury.
According to the announcement, an adult had left a full and unsecured revolver inside the apartment, while the investigating authorities are investigating whether the owner of the weapon should be prosecuted.
Police did not provide further information on the owner of the weapon, the age of the perpetrator and his relationship with the victim.
