Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza met with the elderly at Kathithi, Meru county and empowered them with 100 seater tent.
“When she came earlier, she promised she’d come back. I appreciate her providing us with a tent that will house four communities,” said a member of the group.
“We are grateful to Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza for providing us with a large tent and seats. We won’t be borrowing any longer. We appreciate her coming so early in the morning as well,” said another member of the group.
“We will begin an income-generating project in which we will rent out the tent. It will also assist community members when they have get-togethers,” said another member of the group.
The chairman said that the money raised from tent hire services would be used to purchase a blood pressure monitor. He said that the elderly members of the group will have their blood pressure taken from the comfort of their own homes.
“We thank her for joining the rest of the community in chasing the elephants away from our farms when they invaded. We are grateful to her for supporting us previously with a Ksh 100,00 cheque and now with tents and seats,” said another member of the group.
The chairman of the KKRA group stated that previously, Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza supported the group with a Ksh 100,000 cheque, with which they were able to purchase speakers, an automatic generator, a regulator, a 12 channel mixer, a mic stand, and a headphone mic.
He expressed gratitude to Bishop Hon Kawira Mwangaza and prayed that God continue to bless her.
