Challenges That Hon. Kawira is Facing As She Climbs The Mountain

Must read

The ACC South Imenti has threatened to arrest Meru County MP Hon Bishop Kawira Mwangaza.

He barred her from distributing uniforms in South Imenti schools and issued her a warning.

Hon Kawira said that a few people were dissatisfied with the good work she was doing in Meru County. She said that they approached the government and called for her that arrest.

On September 16,2021, ACC South Imenti said that no leader was permitted to distribute uniforms in schools during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Surprisingly, the following day, September 17, 2021, Governor Kiraitu Murungi visited one of the schools in Nkubu and distributed items after holding a meeting.

The question we should ask is why Kiraitu Murungi was allowed to hold meetings and visit the school while Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza was barred from distributing school uniforms at Kirogine primary school in the same Sub-County.

“And how wish, it is me who got her there. She would have been arrested, taken into custody and charged in court. It does not matter whether you are women rep or who, We will arrest you, take you into custody and and charged in court,” said Washington Koi.

It is not the first time Hon. Bishop Kawira has been criticized for her leadership. She had been physically assaulted, received strange letters, falsely accused and had her name mentioned in Kiraitu Murungi’s book.

Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza has decided to seek divine intervention in order to gain strength in the face of the challenges she is facing.

“Today is a special day, a day of blessings, and as a person who prays, I decided to seek divine intervention. According to the scripture, God will listen to his people and bless them,” said Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza.

“I went to the sacred mountain this morning to seek divine intervention from God, who has all power and is the ruler of the earth because he is capable.

“I’ve been visiting Meru County without a day’s rest for the last four years to help the Meru Child. Until now, I’ve been hearing strange voices, voices of Satan, voices that have sapped my strength. I went on a prayer mission to ask God to deliver the Meru child from Misri and to help the Meru child.

“I went to pray to God because something happened and the government intends to arrest me. And, despite the fact that the government intends to arrest me, Kawira is not a thief or a murderer.

“The reason for the call for my arrest is that I dressed the Meru child in school uniforms, a child in torn clothes, a poor child, a child with no strength, and an orphaned child.

“The government intends to arrest me for visiting schools and learning about the various challenges that children face, as well as distributing tanks, lockers, tents, and bursaries to less fortunate children.

“However, a few people are dissatisfied with the good work I am doing in Meru County. They have approached the government and requested that I be arrested. They demanded that I be investigated so that I could be charged with everything they could find.

“I said that because it is the government and I cannot fight the government, there is a God in heaven whom I intend to seek so that he may fight my battles.

“Until now, calls for my arrest have been issued, and I have been barred from visiting any school.

“This is despite the fact that I have many items with me that I received from the government after requesting them.

“I have a large number of uniforms, bursaries, and pairs of shoes in our stores that I intend to distribute. However, the government has gone ahead and organized my arrest through a few individuals who do not want me on the ballot and are against competition,” said Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza.
