Pregnant in India begs for measures against coronavirus a few days before losing the battle with the pandemic.
Tragic is the situation in India , which announces by far the highest number of new daily coronavirus cases in the world and over 4,000 deaths a day, numbers that are almost certainly lower than the real ones, according to experts.
Among the victims was a female dentist who contracted coronavirus while she was seven months pregnant, about two weeks after her baby failed, and a day later, on April 26, she lost her life.
The tragic ending makes the video of 34-year-old Dimple Arora Chawla from New Delhi even more creepy, a few days before her death, which was later made public by her husband, who lost his wife and child.
“Please, do not take the coronavirus so lightly. Very bad, very bad symptoms. I can not speak, but I really want to pass my message to everyone,” the 34-year-old told as she tried to breathe and begged her fellow citizens to wear a mask.
Ravish Chawla posted the creepy video on his Twitter account, urging Indians to take the pandemic seriously.
“I lost my pregnant wife and our unborn child to COVID. She passed away on April 24, 2021 and our unborn child a day earlier,” she wrote.
“She tested positive on April 11 and even during the period she suffered, she made the above video on April 17, warning others about the coronavirus,” he added.
