Senate Energy Committee chaired by Nyeri Senator,Eng Ephraim Maina, today issued summons against Cabinet Secretary for Petroleum and Mining Hon.John Munyes for failing to appear before the committee in Parliament buildings.
The CS was scheduled to appear before the committee to deliberate on the Constant rise of Petroleum products in the country in the last few months.
The CS however failed to appear neither did he send a representative to the committee prompting the Senators to issue summons. The Committee warned the CS that he will face arrest should he fail to honour the summons.
